"Red lines in the Israeli Democracy" Interactive Educational Program
At the Guest House in memoy of Yitzhak Rabin, in Jerusalem
11 years after the murder of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin – violence is unfortunately still a common means to resolving disputes. This brings us to the question: Can we find other ways to resolve the disputes and disagreements in the Israeli society and in the day to day life?
To try and answer this question the Educational Center in name of Yitzhak Rabin was founded and it presents a unique audiovisual display and various activities.
The "Red lines in the Israeli Democracy" exhibit is displayed on 7 giant screens.
In the first part of the exhibit, the viewers are introduced to the milestones in Yitzhak Rabin's life, intertwined with the significant events in the development of the Israeli state.
The second part focuses on the political and social events preceding the assassination.
The exhibit ends with the sound of 3 gun shots, inviting the viewers to participate in a discussion and various educational activities.
Duration: approx. 30 minutes. The exhibit can be screened in Hebrew or English and at all hours of the day (please coordinate in advance).
