The Masada Youth Hostel offers guests visiting the Dead Sea and Judean Desert a wonderful chance to rest and enjoy our tranquil, pleasant hosting options at attractive prices as you look out over the ancient Havari landscape.

At Masada Youth Hostel you’ll find spacious pleasant rooms suited to couples, families, groups and singles. All rooms come with air conditioning, shower and toilet, a fridge, TV, and coffee corner.

In addition to our rich diverse breakfasts, enjoy a range of facilities at the hostel, including outdoor swimming pool, large balcony with breathtaking panoramic views, basketball court, free Wi-Fi access, the synagogue, and instructional rooms outfitted with audiovisual equipment.
Masada Youth Hostel holds educational programs and enrichment activities on site for a range of ages and levels, such as the “News of the Great Rebellion” interactive display. Join the dramatic rebellion! Get involved in the rebels’ decision making processes!
Our reception desk staff will also be happy to recommend treks and experiential activities nearby: the Masada National Park with the 2,000-year-old fortress, King Herod’s northern facing palace, the ancient synagogue and ritual baths, protection towers excavated in the fortress, the Dead Sea and its unique bathing spots with healing powers just 15 minutes’ drive from the hostel, Ein Gedi, Mount Sodom, jeep tours, bike riding trails and much more.

Location and access routes

Arrival By CarComing by car , drive along Road 90 until the turn-off for Masada National Park. Turn and continue straight for a few minutes and you will see the Guest House on your left after the roundabout.
Coming by bus from Jerusalem: Coming by bus from Jerusalem , take the bus lines 444 or 486 from Jerusalem's Central Bus Station headed for Masada. Get off at the “Masada” stop

Coming by bus from Arad: Coming by bus from Arad , take the bus line 384 from Arad's Central Bus Station headed for Masada. Get off at the “Masada” stop and walk in the direction of the National Park.
