HI Beit She’an

The Beit She’an Youth Hostel’s excellent location offers guests a wonderful opportunity to learn about the city located in the valley of natural springs which has become one of Israel’s most beautiful and important archeological sites. A short distance from the hostel, a variety of sites attract visits, including the “Seraya”, the Turkish government building; the Beit She’an National Park which contains a Roman shrine, amphitheater and bath house; the ancient synagogue and gorgeous mosaics in Beit Alpha, the Sachneh pools with hot springs, the “Gan-Guru” Australian Wildlife park where kangaroos hop around freely, koala bears cling to trees, and other Australian fauna is found. You’re also not far from the Sea of Galilee, the Gilboa Mountains with them stunning blossoming, and hiking trails for the family that will reveal the city’s rich past and modern innovation.
